Role Overview

Connect is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale the core infrastructure that powers real-time inventory syncing, marketplace integrations, pricing automation, and financial reconciliation.

This role is critical to platform reliability and scalability.

What You’ll Work On

• Building and maintaining marketplace API integrations
• Designing real-time inventory synchronisation systems
• Developing pricing automation engines
• Improving data pipelines and analytics processing
• Ensuring high availability and performance (SaaS infrastructure)
• Scaling APIs and enforcing rate limits
• Strengthening platform security and compliance

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years backend development experience
• Strong experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience with marketplaces, fintech, or SaaS platforms
• Comfortable working with high-volume transactional systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
